THE number of Isle of Wight Council cabinet members could be reduced and their responsibilities revised following a reshuffle expected later this year.
Council leader Cllr David Pugh said: "I am reviewing the number of cabinet members and the distribution of responsibilities. The proposed revision of responsibilities will come into effect in time for the September cabinet meeting."
A decision is due to be published towards the end of August.

Hpoing after the next elections Pugh will have plenty of time to shullle, off down to the shops/cards or even at a dance. I just want party in power that does there best for the Island and not ego,s. Pugh answer this just how much money have we the island people got in reserve in the bank,?

I shuffled a pack of cards once, didnt like the hand i dealt myself so re-shuffled them until I got a winning hand. Still lost though and I was playing with myself. (Left myself open for some excellent comments there)

"i am reviewing.." king pugh has spoken, i thought the council made the decisions after reasoned debate but it seems dictatorships are still going well

I am all for a cabinet reshuffle. I have just done one at home where I swapped the one in the bay window with the books in it with the one by the TV and I am pretty pleased with my work. Whilst we're at it - why is it a RE-shuffle and not just a shuffle? If I shuffle cards I just shuffle them - there is no 're' involved at all no matter how many shuffles have previously been effected. Anyone?
