A MAN is still on the run for the terrifying kidnap of a Greenwich University student.
The Old Bailey heard last Friday how the mystery man who joined Paul Jones, 17, and Mark Parfitt, 24, in robbing and kidnapping Abu Koroma, has never been caught.
Jones, of Anstridge Road, Eltham, who has a low IQ of 62 was sentenced to three years' youth custody despite denying robbery and kidnap charges.
Burly Parfitt, of Linstead Court, Eltham, who pleaded guilty was sentenced to five years' jail.
Mr Recorder Rodger Hayward-Smith QC heard how the trio planned their crime in the hours after watching the England football team thrash Germany 5-1 last September.
They drove their Austin Montego to the Jane Seymour Court campus halls where they grabbed Mr Koroma, threw him in the car and threatened him with a knife before forcing him to hand over £80 in cash.
Mr Recorder Hayward-Smith concluded: "These offences lasted a considerable time over a considerable distance in the car. You made threats which clearly terrified the victim.
"What he went through, one can only imagine must have been an extremely terrifying."
