THE Premier Division title race in the Sunday Combination Football League is hotting up with the top four all winning.
Leaders Plough beat Lane End 2-1 with goals from Neil Catlin and Darran Stone while second-placed Italia Unita kept up the pressure with John-Paul Iaciofano getting the only goal of the game against Beaconsfield Arms.
Third-placed FC Beaconsfield beat Holmer Green 2-1 thanks to strikes from Robert Charles and Andrew Humphrey. And goals from Ryan Davis, Paul Byrne, Lee Fortnam and Nicky Barnes helped fourth placed Chinnor Exiles beat Widmer End 4-1.
Division One leaders Wycombe Town beat Priority Insurance 4-3 after strikes by Jamie Charles (two), Steve Gray and Andy Young, but Italia Unita Reserves lost ground losing 1-0 to Foresters.
FC Beaconsfield Reserves went second with a 5-1 win over Chinnor Sports, with goals coming from hat-trick hero Simon Rogers, Simon Guy and Ansil Bushay.
Parklife returned to winning ways with a 7-0 success against Micklefield Inn thanks to goals from Dean Dunham (four), Adrian Jones, Scott Davies and Scott Stephenson.
Division Two leaders Barn Club could only get a goalless draw with third-placed Dolphin, while Wycombe Marsh Reserves 7-1 win over Cressex Club included goals from Matt Tew (three), Dom Bryant, Neil Bowden, Andrew Lawrence and Ben Causer.
There was a surprise in Division Three as leaders Hithercroft drew 2-2 with struggling Hazlemere 99, allowing Beaconsfield Legion to close the gap after their 2-1 win over Horse & Groom, thanks to goals from Martin Harbour and Noah Bear.
