A CAR which caught fire on the ramp of the Wightlink car ferry at Yarmouth on Sunday night was put out by staff before the fire brigade arrived.
Once the blaze had been extinguished, Wightlink staff moved the vehicle to the car park.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called out to the quay at 8pm. It was out on their arrival.
No one was injured.
