Alastair Owen-Browne (51) and Jamie Hollebone (42) were the chief contributors out of OMs' 172-9, off 53 overs.

Seamer Adam Webster (6-18) destroyed Hitchin, dismissed for 80.

Barnet batted poorly on a damp wicket against Letchworth and were all out for 107. Only skipper Arif Hassan batted positively for an aggressive 46.

Letchworth, looking much more at ease, coasted to victory at 110-2.

Newcomers Gladalia (103 no) and Strickland (70no) steered Barnet to a nine-wicket win over Harrow on Sunday. Harrow 174, Barnet 175-1.
