FOUR raffles hit the right note for pupils who benefit from music therapy.
The £400 raised by Needles and West Wight Freemasons’ lodges was presented to St George’s School, Newport. The school, which caters for children with a wide range of disabilities, wanted to provide easier-to-play electric guitars.
Richard Adsett, caretaker at Medina House and St George’s, runs guitar clubs for the youngsters at both schools in his own time.
"We have a lot of acoustic guitars, which the children find difficult to play because of the size of their hands and the Freemasons’ donation will enable us to get more children involved," he said.
