More than 1,200 football fans have already bought tickets for this weekend's UEFA Cup quarter final tie between Arsenal Ladies and the French team Toulouse.

The game, part of the first ever womens' UEFA Cup, will be played at Boreham Wood Football Club's Meadow Park ground, and should prove an exciting afternoon for football fans.

Arsenal Ladies have already defeated FC Bern, from Switzerland, KS AZS Wroclaw from Poland and Hapoel Tel-Aviv from Israel.

Arsenal Ladies' line up includes some of Britain's top female footballers, and team development manager Clare Wheatley said the players were looking forward to the game.

"Our manager Vic Akers is the only person from the team who has seen Toulouse play, and he's told us they are very good."

Tickets for the match on Saturday, March 16, kick off 2pm, are being sold at Boreham Wood Football Club. Seats cost £5 for adults, £3 for children and pensioners. Standing tickets cost £3 for adults, £1 for children or pensioners.
