With regards to air traffic over Biggin Hill and other local places.
I am aware consultations have taken place regarding this and understood they had been resolved.
I was patient in Farnborough Hospital for a week last month and every day there have been roaring, screaming jets skimming the rooftops in rapid succession and with what seems very little time between each one.
I counted eight on my first day in the hospital.
Only this week I am told two 707s flew out of Biggin Hill Airport. They flew so low people on the ground could clearly see the numbers and insignia of the planes.
This kind of operation seems risky to say the least and I dread to think what could happen to the hospital and schools in the area.
I believe previous consultations have centred on the noise and pollution problems caused by the jets and I believe the real problems have never been addressed.
These, in my opinion, are the density of the air traffic and the flight paths. I understand there is a group in the Biggin Hill/Tatsfield area which is fighting this and I would gladly add whatever I can to their efforts, West Wickham is also under the flight path.
