DRESSING up has helped raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

Staff from Matalan have arrived at work in onesies or in school uniform.

The store has been fundraising through the dressing-up days, raffles and other events.

During Sport Relief, staff covered 150 miles in three days on rowing and running machines.

Store manager Kelly Bolland said: "On the school-themed day, I came in as the headmistress.

"The staff gave donations when they dressed up and we held raffles. On Mother’s Day, we raffled off jars of love heart sweets."

A cheque for £3,814 was presented to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
