ORGANISERS of a family event this Saturday have switched venues after Corf Camp, Shalfleet, was waterlogged by recent wet weather.
The picnic and dinosaur races will now be held at Carisbrooke Primary School on Saturday.
The event has been organised by Isle of Wight Scouts, and UK chief commissioner Wayne Bulpitt will be visiting to meet local scouts.
As well as the fancy-dress dinosaur racing and picnic, there will be a barbecue and campfire sing-song.
The event will be held from 2.30pm to 6pm, and proceeds will go to scout funds.
It was originally due to be held at Corf Camp, Shalfleet, but the venue was changed due to the campsite being waterlogged.
