Changes to catamaran service

WIGHTLINK has announced changes to its Ryde to Portsmouth catamaran service due to maintenance work on one of its boats.

A spokesman said while Wight Ryder II was out of action, a charter vessel would take its place, affecting timetables today (Thursday), Friday, Saturday and Monday.

Wight Ryder I will operate on sailings at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde.

The charter vessel, which will take around 25 minutes, will be used on the following sailings:

Friday, May 9

From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40, 16:40, 17:40

From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10, 17:10

Saturday, May 10

From Portsmouth: 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 13:40, 14:40, 15:40, 16:40, 17:40

From Ryde: 10:10, 11:10, 12:10, 13:10, 14:10, 15:10, 16:10, 17:10

Monday, May 12

From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40, 16:40, 17:40, 18:45

From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10, 17:10, 18:10
