A CONVOY of nearly 30 tractors raised hundreds of pounds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance in this year’s Isle of Wight Charity Tractor Road Run.

The 27 tractors of all shapes and sizes took to the streets of the south Wight for a 22-mile 'road run' on Saturday  starting at the Eight Bells pub, Carisbrooke.

Organiser David Lemonius, of Isle of Wight Classic Tractors, said: "Everyone was able to reach their final destinations before dark and testament to the maintenance of all the tractors, there were no breakdowns."

The drivers raised £475 for the charity.
