CHRISTIANS from the Isle of Wight are being invited to a pilgrimage to Turkey later this year.
Canon Michael Weaver, Anglican area dean of West Wight, has led the annual event for more than 25 years, enabling Christians from all traditions to come together for shared experiences in special places.
This year’s event, from October 2 to October 11, will visit the sites of the Seven Churches mentioned by St John in the Book of Revelation.
There will also be visits to sites associated with St Paul and to Troy — famous for the wooden horse story.
Full details are available from Canon Weaver at junovicarage@hotmail.com or 01983 753786.

Maybe they could visit the sites of massacres and destruction metted out by another christian pilgrimage...the crusades.
