Coastguard rescue man from marshes

A MAN was taken to hospital suffering from a broken leg after an accident at Brading Marshes on Wednesday evening.

Bembridge coastguards were called to help ambulance crews rescue the man following the incident which took place at 7.37pm.

The man was taken by stretcher off the marshes and transferred to a waiting ambulance before being taken to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
