SOLENT Coastguards have issued a warning to people on the Isle of Wight, telling them to stay away from cliff tops and to be careful on beaches.
A spokesperson said: "The Isle of Wight looks set to get the worst of the storm."
"People should stay away from the edge of cliff tops as the wind is already rising and they should be careful on the beaches with the increased wave heights."
Although the storm is not anticipated to hit until tomorrow (Monday), the weather is already on the turn and coastguards hope that people will stay away from their boats and exercise caution.
