Come dance with us for charity

DON your gladrags and get your groove on for our fancy dress Zumbathon.

The second charity challenge of the year will take place at Medina Leisure Centre, Newport, on Saturday, March 17, when up to 250 fundraisers will take part in an hour-long class…in fancy dress.

The Charity Challenge is being held in aid of Carisbrooke Priory, which supports people with mental health illnesses, and Young Carers, which supports youngsters who care for their sick or disabled relatives.

It costs £5 to enter and you are welcome to raise extra funds by getting sponsorship from your family and friends (registration and sponsorship forms are available to download from www.iwcp.co.uk/zumbathon.aspx)

The event, which is sponsored by Medina Leisure Centre, takes place from 11am to noon.

Entries will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fundraisers of all ages and abilities are welcome (children under ten must be accompanied by an adult) so bring along your friends and family.

Fancy dress is optional but there will be a prize for the best-dressed group.
