BESTIVAL’S Common People festival is to feature some fantastic Isle of Wight talent.& ;lt;br />Indie electronic five piece Nakamarra, lo-fi indie band XOCKHA, DJ Hadda and Kaf-Tan and math pop group Signals will be joining DJ legend Pete Tong, and king of the dancehall Sean Paul, at the event in May.
Drummer of Nakamarra, Silas Gregory, said: "We all feel extremely privileged to be asked to play at this year's festival. The Uncommon Stage run by The Joiners has hosted some of our favourite emerging bands and we're going to be playing on the very same stage, it's mad. It's still only our first year as a band and opportunities like these are just incredible, we seriously can’t wait."
Other names on the line up include Tom Odell, Groove Armada and Faithless.
The two day bank holiday will take place on May 27-28 at Southampton Common.
