AN Isle of Wight company has been presented with the most prestigious award for businesses in the UK.
Marine Data, a marine navigation equipment company based in Newport, received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, at a ceremony at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.
Managing director, Tim Ingram, said: "Receiving the award is a successful moment for us and one that we could not have achieved without a long-standing culture of innovation in technology.
"I am very proud of what we have achieved and we will continue to build on this."
