EMERGENCY services have been called to Godshill following an accident involving two cars this lunchtime (Thursday).
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the scene of the collision, at Whitwell Road, by ambulance crew, who reported at least one person might be trapped.
The crash involved two cars, according to Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
The fire and rescue service said that after arriving on scene, it was found no-one was trapped. Firefighters left the scene at around 12.30pm.
*A spokeswoman for St Mary's Hospital said no casualties had been brought into the hospital.
