EMERGENCY services have been called to a three-vehicle collision in Newport this morning (Tuesday).
They were called to the scene, at Medina Way, just after 7.50am, according to Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
A woman had to be cut free by firefighters and has been taken to hospital.
Police said at 8.50am that both northbound lanes of the dual carriageway were closed and diversions were in place.
*A Renault and a Hyundai were involved and the Hyundai had its roof removed by firefighters, according to one witness.
The road re-opened at around 9.05am.
