A TEENAGE net head who plans to conquer the world of web design has set up his own business.

Ambitious Rob Fisher, aged 17, of Pickhurst Rise in West Wickham, says his two-week-old business, Totalnet has already had its pressures.

He said: "I burst into tears the other night at about 4am and wondered whether it was worth it. But I am so determined for it to work that I soon pulled myself together.

"Some of the charges by web design companies are exorbitant and a business can be well run on much cheaper charges to clients.

"I think most people accept the advertising benefits of the internet and first impressions are important. A well-designed web page gives a business the professional edge."

Rob, who has left school and is working from home, said he hopes to work with businesses and help them find a web site which will match the "vibe" of the company.

"I give a professional assessment of what the company is about and show them particular backgrounds which may suit them.

"I will then play with it until the design matches the vibe of the company."

He has spent the last three months researching the web design industry and has several clients lined up already.

"I have wanted to own a business for years and want to be a very successful entrepreneur by the time I am 21."

Totalnet's website is www.total-net.co.uk. Or you can call Rob on 0181 289 7589.
