Kelsey Biedler has been transferred back to St Mary's Hospital, Isle of Wight, following a crash that left her fighting for her life.
A YOUNG woman left fighting for her life after a car crash has been transferred back to the Isle of Wight.
Kelsey Biedler, 23, was taken to hospital in a critical state after receiving life threatening injuries in the crash on Lake Hill, nearly four weeks ago.
She was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, but has now returned to St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
Her parents Paul and Debbie thanked people for their support.
"We want to say a massive thank you for all the messages of love and support.
"Kelsey is in the rehab unit at St Mary's now and is showing small signs of waking. She can open her eyes a little bit but is not focusing, so we do not know if she can see," said Debbie, on a Facebook page set up for people to send messages of support to Kelsey and her family.
