ENFIELD in Bloom is launching its 18th Garden Competition ? with the help of sponsorship from the Enfield Independent.
The competition is free to enter and encourages everyone in the community from homeowners to pub keepers to create attractive floral displays
The Independent will be sponsoring the Highly Commended Certificates. Other local firms and businesses will also be sponsoring different categories in the competition.
The contest includes sections for the best hotel or restaurant, best-maintained park and best Agenda 21 Garden, which will be judged against sustainable development principles such as reducing waste and water use, using native species and encouraging wildlife.
Entry forms are available from libraries, garden centres, the Civic Centre or by calling Enfield in Bloom on 020 8379 3776. Forms must be received before June 16.
