ISLAND cyclists will be taught how to ride safely on Saturday.
Activities and demonstrations have been arranged by cycle businesses and safety groups outside Ryde Arena.
They are working together to provide advice and training on cycling skills, maintenance, security and head injury awareness.
The event is being held following concerns about cyclists riding in the dark with no lights.
There will be a mobile trailer giving out high-visibility back straps, ankle straps and stickers for bikes.
