The Grand Arcade in Tally Ho is to go under the hammer next month.
Twenty-one shops and three office blocks, Apex House, Rex House and Industrial House, are expected to fetch around £2.5million after new owners, who bought the plot last month, decided to put it up for auction.
It is understood all commercial tenants are unlikely to be affected as their leases run beyond the Year 2000. Balfour House, which houses several Jewish associations, the Tally Ho pub and the adjoining arts centre site will not be up for sale. The auction is due to take place on Thursday June 4.
