FOUR men arrested in May last year on suspicion of murdering missing Isle of Wight teenager Damien Nettles in 1996 have been released from bail with no further action.
They are a 48-year-old man from Sandown, a 45-year-old man from Cowes, a 50-year-old man from Newport and a 40-year-old man from Gravesend, Kent, who were due to answer bail yesterday.
Meanwhile, police said a 38-year-old man from Ryde was re-bailed until March 7, pending further enquiries.
A police spokesman said: "If further significant evidence becomes available at a later date, these decisions can be reconsidered."
