A YACHT dismasted in high seas two miles west of the Needles was rescued by RNLI crews from Yarmouth yesterday (Monday).
The 32-foot sailing yacht 'Avalon’ was damaged in 35 knots of wind at around 5pm and both crew members on board were said to be suffering from bad sea sickness.
They were transferred to the Yarmouth RNLI lifeboat before their yacht was towed to Yarmouth harbour.
