Solent Coastguard prepare to airlift the casualties from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. Picture by Malcolm Cleary.
TWO DIVERS reported to be suffering from the 'bends’ were airlifted from the Isle of Wight for mainland hospital treatment today (Friday).
The Solent Coastguard helicopter landed at Yarmouth Green shortly before 12.30pm today and the divers were transferred from an ambulance.
They were reported to have been taken for decompression treatment at Poole Hospital.
