POLICE on the Isle of Wight have appealed for witnesses after a report of a dog being injured by another dog on Appley Beach, Ryde.
The incident occurred yesterday (Thursday).
Investigating Officer, PC Dunn from Newport Police Station, said: "We are assessing an allegation of a criminal offence under section three of the Dangerous Dog Act whereby a dog has been dangerously out of control in a public place.
"Enquiries are under way to identify and contact the owner of the second dog accused of the attack."
