An arsonist is believed to have set fire to filled plastic bin liners at an empty Ridgehill house in Borehamwood's Barkston Path last Wednesday. Borehamwood firefighters arrived at the house, at around 12.30pm, to see smoke billowing out of the roof, and discovered that bin liners, containing packed-up belongings or rubbish, had been set on fire in a back room.
