TWO boats found drifting in The Solent will be dismantled unless their owners come forward.
Both boats, Sanderling and Tern, were towed into Ryde Harbour by Ryde Inshore Rescue on November 11, after they were found drifting off the Island.
Unless they are claimed, the IW Council, which owns Ryde Harbour, says the boats will be disposed of within the next two weeks.
The Ryde harbour master can be contacted on 613879 or email ryde.harbour@iow.gov.uk to arrange collection.

Why do they have to be dismantled? Can they not be sold off and any proceeds donated to Ryde Inshore Rescue? They aren't in the best condition, but someone might want them.

Have they not investigated the registration as the owners may be floating in the English Channel?
