Drive-through supermarket for Isle of Wight

All these mothers who seem to work all the time and need to spend precious time with their family, I have to ask who looks after your children whilst working 12hrs?
Do you not have days off?
My experience of retail is families shopping and doing nothing else!

Oh and for arguments sake. I commute to the mainland for employment so I work more than 12 hours

Stephen E, I am far from lazy but will be using this - work and commuting take up 12 hours of my day, I'd rather spend time with my family than traipse around a supermarket. Keith McN, whilst they have thought about cyclists not everything suits everyone, life isn't fair, and if someone told you it was, they lied.

The traffic is at a standstill for longer than it is on the move :-)

BUT and it is a big BUT, what the devil are they doing this at this time of the year for? Spring and Summer are the times for this sort of thing. Isle of Wight County Council, what ARE you thinking?

It's not really a new idea as the Island has long operated a drive through where there is absolutely no need whatsoever to get out of your car. It's called Brading.

I am waiting for Argos to do this too as now they have steps to walk up I am too lazy to visit their store.

But why stop here, why not have a drive in hospital, where you park (if you are lucky) in St Marys hospital car park and a doctor comes around to your car and gives you a thorough examination before sending you on your way, bit nippy in winter but think of the time saved!!

Also, do not bother swimming at Compton bay, simply sit in the car park and get someone to throw a bucket of water over you!

Oh this idea is superb, I bet there will be a pub serving drinks to customers in the car park anytime soon......

You could also get your car washed Stephen (Elliott) without so much as lifting a cheek!

Actually this is a brilliant idea, working mums like me the last thing i want after finishing work is to have to go shopping especially as i have to drive past tesco to go home, i can order online and pick up on my way home.
