Easter activities this weekend

Decorating egg cups for Easter at Chessel Pottery.

FROM Easter Egg hunts and spring lambs to craft workshops, theatre shows and art exhibitions, there will be plenty to do on the Isle of Wight this weekend.

The Easter Bunny will be busy, with egg hunts at venues around the Island, including Ventnor Botanic Garden and Appuldurcombe House.

Visitors to Appuldurcombe will also have the chance to meet the new born spring lambs in the lambing shed, as well as see bird of prey displays.

At Chessell Pottery, visitors will be able to decorate egg cups and take part in a competition to win a huge bunny toy.

At the Isle of Wight Steam Railway there will be Easter children’s activities including a treasure hunt, story-telling and Easter bonnet parade.

The National Trust has organised an Easter Eggsplorer Trail in the gardens of Mottistone Manor.

A production of The Little Red Hen by the Stuff and Nonsense theatre company, will be entertaining audiences at Quay Arts and there will be arts workshops throughout the weekend.
