In the annual street survey where people across Kingston, Wandsworth and Merton are interviewed, 19 per cent felt they had no computer skills and 15 per cent lacked management skills, whereas nearly all respondents thought they had at least basic skills in literacy, numeracy and communications.
Ian Parkes, AZTEC chief executive, said: "43 per cent of unemployed people ranked their computer skills as advanced or intermediate, suggesting there is a wealth of skilled people in south west London.
