Emergency services attend Compton incident

Emergency services have been called to an incident at Compton on the Isle of Wight, this evening (Tuesday).

A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received at 7.14pm regarding an incident on the Military Road, near Compton Chine and they were assisting police.

Solent Coastguard also confirmed they were called to assist police with the incident on the west side of the Island earlier this evening.
