GLORIOUS weather helped to bring in the crowds for this year’s Ryde Regatta over the weekend.
The family fun event at Eastern Gardens was packed with activities for everyone, which included live music, circus skills, and magic, with races for children and adults at the nearby beach.
A large crowd gathered on Ryde Esplanade to watch a firework display on Saturday nigh.
Cora Wade, of the Ryde East Community Association, said: "It’s the first time we’ve ever run Ryde Regatta and I’m very pleased with how it went. There was a nice, chilled atmosphere and it was great to see so many families come along to it.
"Having the family area worked really well and it was a real community effort."
