A TEENAGER has died in hospital from serious head injuries sustained in a car crash.
The 19-year-old from Rickmansworth was taken to a specialist unit in London after the accident on Tuesday, January 29. He died at 11.30pm on Sunday, February 3.
The white Ford Escort convertible he was driving had smashed into a lamp post on the Hunton Bridge roundabout in Watford.
The passenger, a 19-year-old from Kings Langley suffered a broken arm, leg and fractured pelvis.
Both men had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters attending the scene.
Police have made an appeal for witnesses to the accident. Anyone who saw anything can contact the traffic unit on 01923 472000.
