CALLOUS robbers beat up and robbed a good Samaritan in Tottenham after pretending they needed help.

Two men and a woman flagged down a motorist at the junction of West Green Road and Brunswick Road as if to ask for assistance.

But when the driver, a 24-year-old market trader, stopped, he was dragged out of the vehicle and set upon.

The thugs stole £300 cash and a mobile phone before fleeing.

The attack took place last Wednesday just after 2.30am.

The woman was white and aged about 23, and wore a white top and skirt.

She was accompanied by two black men. One was about 5 ft 9 ins tall and wore black jeans and a black top.

The other was about 5 ft 11ins tall, had dreadlocks and wore a cream jacket and dark shirt.
