FERRY passengers face disruption in October due to essential works to Wightlink’s Fishbourne link span.
The company said that on the weekends of October 5 and 6 and October 19 and 20 the Portsmouth Harbour to Fishbourne route would close overnight.
On those weekends it said the last sailing from Portsmouth Gunwharf will be at 9pm on Saturday recommencing at 7am on Sunday and the last sailing from Fishbourne will be at 10pm on Saturday, recommencing on Sunday at 8am.
There will be additional sailings between Ryde and Portsmouth Harbour and Yarmouth and Lymington during the night as a result.
The additional sailings will be:
From Portsmouth Harbour — 00:15, 03:15 and 05:15
From Ryde — 01:15, 04:15 and 06:15
From Lymington — 23:00, 01:00 and 03:00
From Yarmouth — 00:05, 02:00 and 04:00
