FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at the site of a former hotel last night (Thursday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire at the site of the former Grange Hall Hotel site, Grange Road, Sandown, at 9.21pm.
They found burning rubbish and building materials. The fire was extinguished by 11.20pm.
