Fire crews to wash cars

RATHER than the traditional method of using water to put out fires, a team of firefighters will be using it to wash cars in Ryde in aid of two worthy causes tomorrow (Saturday).

The car wash is in aid of KissyPuppy, a fundraising platform for Sophie Rolf, and the national Firefighters Charity, at Ryde Fire Station, Nicholson Road, between 10am and 3pm.

The proceeds will be split between the two causes.
