FIREFIGHTERS were called to a care home this morning (Wednesday) to investigate a strong smell of burning in the kitchen.
Crews were called to Byrnhill Grove Care Home at Park Avenue, Ventnor, at 10.30am.
*At 11.45am fire control said an investigation of the building was carried out and found there was no fire.
