Bolt knocks out Coleman

BOWLS: Morden's Paul Coleman beat off competition to get to the quarter finals of a national bowling contest. He won two matches in the Manchester Under 25 Single Championships at Bilborough, Nottingham. But he was then knocked out by David Bolt in the quarter finals by a 21-9 scoreline.

Mitcham romp

RUGBY: Mitcham travelled to Bec Old Boys on Saturday and came away winners by 53-0. Mitcham were 53-0 ahead by half time through tries by man of the match Steve Green (2), Nick Mason, Conrad Murray, `Alf' Garnett, Neil Mosely, Dave Howard, Steve Whittall, and Mick Fallon. Gareth John kicked four conversions.
