FIRE tore through stables near Ryde early this morning (Friday), although no animals were hurt.
The fire, at a stables near Bullen Cross, Ryde, was reported at around midnight and the building was well alight when firefighters arrived.
Crews from Newport and Ryde fought the blaze, which was extinguished by 1.40am.
Police also attended the scene following a request from the stable owners.
It is not yet know how the blaze started.
