NOISE-plagued residents in search of a little peace should note that the UK Noise Association has launched a competition to find Britain's noisiest street.
The contest coincides with a report from the Association that urges the government to adopt cuts in traffic and aircraft noise.
Londoners are invited to nominate streets to be published in a UK Top 10 noisiest street list. Send nominations to UK Noise Association, Sir John Lyon House, 5 Timber Street, London, EC4V 3NS.
