The man accused of battering psychology technician Elizabeth Stacey to death has denied killing her.
Steven Reid, 33, of Edinburgh, was a colleague of the 24-year-old from Clifton Avenue, Finchley, at Westminster University. Her body was found in a locked university research room with fatal injuries on November 6, last year. Reid was arrested 12 days later.
On Tuesday, the Old Bailey set his trial date for June 19. He had pleaded not guilty to her killing at a previous hearing.
Elizabeth was a pupil at North London Collegiate School in Edgware and a Cambridge graduate. She worked part-time at a doctor's practice in Cornwall Avenue, Finchley, until two months before her death.
She then took up the position of a psychology department technician at Westminster, and was reported missing by her family when she failed to return home from work on Friday November 5.
