The Environment Agency warned of potential flooding at Monktonmead Brook, Ryde and the Eastern Yar.
Regarding Monktonmead the EA said there had been 20mm of rain earlier this morning and its pumps were in operation.
In its alert for the Eastern Yar and its tributaries from Whitwell to Bembridge, the agency said there had been six hours of heavy rain in the area. River levels were expected to continue to rise, with the peak expected at mid-afternoon.
