A FLOOD Warning has been issued for Cowes, East Cowes, and tidal areas of Newport.

The Environment Agency has warned of potential flooding at around 4am tomorrow (Wednesday), during high tide.

According to the EA, properties in Cowes High Street are particularly at risk, with around 15mm of rain expected at the same time as high water, which may cause drainage pronlems.

Properties near to the floating bridge are also at risk, according to the EA.

A flood warning has been issued for other coastal areas at around the same time.

Wind speeds are expected to reach Force 9, with wave heights predicted to be very high, causing particular problems in Yarmouth and Ryde.

Flooding of coastal roads is expected, the EA said.

I feel like a VIP on this site with all the attention you give me. Thanks I think? The weather this morning was the worse I have seen in years. Thankfully, it has cleared up for now.

Because if he is right with what he said about now being in Ripon, why does his update on the weather have any bearing on us, 250 miles south !
