Flood warning issued for Island

A FLOOD warning issued for the Isle of Wight by the Environment Agency has been lifted this morning (Friday).

The 'be prepared' alert was issued for the coast around the Island yesterday (Thursday) and lifted at 7.21am this morning.

The Isle of Wight Council advised homeowners in low lying and coastal areas to take precautions.
