A STUNNING performance by Florence + the Machine whipped the Bestival crowd into a frenzy to cap a great Friday night on the main stage.
The talented Florence, wearing a full length green dress, and her trusted Machine performed an array of hits including You've Got the Love, and her latest single, Say My Name, as thousands of revellers went wild on the Isle of Wight.
During her performance, the red-haired singer said it was an honour to play Bestival and thanked curator Rob da Bank for his support, before closing with Dog Days while the packed crowd sang along with her.
Before Florence, The xx, who attracted a huge following when they performed in the Big Top two years ago, put on a flawless show.
Fresh from her star-studded performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, soul singer/songwriter Emeli Sande also drew thousands of fans to the main stage.
The 25 year old, who has worked with stars including Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and Professor Green, hit the right note with the crowd, before closing with Next to Me.
Earlier on, Flux Pavilion pumped out their bass-thumping dubstep tunes to create an electric atmosphere, while a half hour set from rapper, Skepta, set pulses racing inside the Replay tent.
Meanwhile in the Big Top, there were huge performances from The Horrors and Sub Focus.
Elsewhere, the Rizlab, Cockney Knees Up and Polka Dot were just some of the tents packed out with party-goers.
